ROLLERSKATES AND SUPPLIES UPDATE 12-20-21:
We currently have a good stock of Rollerskates made by Sure Grip International, one of the Oldest skate manufacturers in the world today.
We also carry Riedell and Moxi. The Hi-Top Sure Grip models are the Boardwalk which is a Sueded leather and sizes 4-9 in unisex sizes, We also have the 1300 series boardwalk with aluminum plates in black and Tan. Skates come in Unisex sizes up to a size15. The two Oldest brands of rollerskates still in production are Sure Grip and Riedell.
Both Companies have been in business since 1945. Sure-grip is renowned for their roller skate plates and Riedell for their boots. Riedell started making skates for their boots in early 2003/2004.

Longboards & Cruisers
L.A. SKATE carries drop-through bamboo and conventional maple longboards, which are great for beginning skateboarders. For those looking for cruiser boards, we carry landyaghtz Dingy’s they start out at $149.99 and up. Longboards are great cruiser boards and are easier to learn on because of their longer wheelbase, if you are new to skateboarding longboards are more stable. If you are in the metropolitan cityscape, where you need to make faster turns to avoid pedestrians, you may want either a shorter wheelbase (14 to 19 inch) or a reverse (RKP) (king pin) truck with a 43 to 50 degree action, as the steering radius will be smaller. if you have an existing skateboard, it probably can be made into a cruiser by simply changing the wheels to a soft 78a up to a firmer 90a high rebound urethane wheel compound. We can make it happen!
